Day 29: Mysteries of the hollow earth!

The hollow earth theory is very intriguing. I like the idea of there being a bunch of unknown stuff in the earth. It surprises me much we assume to know about the inside of the earth, but the deepest artificial hole in the world is the Kola Superdeep Borehole, which only goes only about 7 miles into the earth. That not very deep considering that the earth's diameter is 7962 miles. So, I think that it would be safe to say that we really aren't 100% sure about the inside of our earth.

There is the Hollow Earth theory, but that's not all: there are strange holes that you can find on Google Maps (I've posted a picture of two below). This guy believes that there are aliens down there and also a secret war. Maybe we will find out where all out missing socks have gone. I'm sure there is a simple explanation, but it is still interesting.
