Day 9: Where do babies come from?

Today's drawing is directly influenced by Leonardo's embryo study. I have always admired Da Vinci's sketchbook work, which freely merges science and art together. He relentlessly studied the human anatomy with great accuracy. I believe that he used cadavers for many of his references. He is a big influence for me.

I thought that today's sketch would have been better of Mother's Day, but if I started preparing my sketched 10 days in advance, I would be welcoming myself a lot of unneeded stress. So, the sketches will be posted as they arrive. Maybe I'll have something even better on Mother's Day. Have a great day!
